Q: I plugged the scanner to my computer but the scanner is not detected.
A: Make sure the USB cable is fully connected to the scanner and your computer. You may want to try inserting the USB cable into another USB port on your computer.

Q: I have installed the scanner to my computer but I can’t get it to work.
A: You should always reboot your computer after final installation. Before scanning you should first select the scanner source and then calibrate the unit before scanning.

Q: I can scan with the scanner but the image output is totally black.
A: Please calibrate the scanner with the calibration sheet that came with the scanner. If your calibration sheet comes with black horizontal bars then they must face down when calibrating.

Q: I can successfully scan but I see some black vertical lines from the top to the bottom of the image.
A: Please calibrate the scanner with the calibration sheet that came with the scanner. Make sure the black bars are facing down when calibrating if your calibrating sheet comes with them.

Q: How do I upgrade my scanner driver?
A: First download the latest driver. Unplug the scanner, run the setup.exe file and follow the directions to install the driver. Once the installation process has completed, plug in the scanner.

Q: Can my scanner scan transparency or film?
A: No, they are not designed for this task.
